Shannon Dobrovolny
Learning Consultant
With 15 years of experience in learning and development, my approach is marked by innovation, creativity, and a goal-oriented mindset. As a collaborative consultant, I'm eager to meld our ideas into exceptional solutions. I specialize in comprehensive training design, overseeing every aspect of a project – from needs assessment to content development to evaluation, ensuring success at every stage.
I started my career in higher education and immediately recognized the gaps between not only high school to college, but also college to the working world. There are some topics that can’t be successfully taught in a classroom. But can they be trained at work? I certainly think so.
Leadership, management, DE&I and soft skills training are my bread and butter, and my experience has spanned a wealth of industries including education, tech and nonprofit as well as an additional range of topics such as orientation/onboarding, technical skills, machinery, policy, compliance and job-specific skills. A well-rounded career history positively impacts my current specializations and range of skills.
The only thing worse than being in a boring training is presenting a boring training. I take a highly active, dynamic and engaging approach to facilitation and want all learners to walk away with practical, immediately applicable new tools.

Outside of work, you'll find me training my dog (canine learning!), traveling (most recently to Abu Dhabi, the Philippines and Iceland), playing any type of game and savoring the best local sips and bites in Philly.
